              HTV is honored at the TATOA Awards with 4 major awards

 

The TATOA (Texas Communications Telecommunications Officers and Advisors) has recognized HTV and their innovative programming for the year of 2008. Government television stations throughout the state were competing for 25 different awards in many diverse categories.

 HTV received the following awards:

  •  1st Place, Education - "Build Green #2"

  • 2nd Place, Public Health - "HFD - Pool Safety"

  • 3rd Place, Public Health - "Weathering the Storm"

  • 3rd Place, Education - "Entertainment Houston"

 Each show was written and produced with the help of various City departments and we are honored to recognize by our peers.

 With the inclusion of the 2008 TATOA awards, HTV has been honored 17 times in awards, certificates and plaques for programming created in 2008.
