The Houston Parks and Recreation Department and City Council Member Jerry Davis, District B, invite Houstonians to the grand opening of the new fitness station at Lakewood Park, 8811 Feland, 77028. The new equipment, valued at $10,100.00, was donated to the Houston Parks and Recreation Department by Park & Sports, Inc. The ribbon cutting event will take place at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017.

The new fitness center was donated by Park & Sports, Inc., to the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. The fitness station is a Hexa Fitness Series AP.3500 Unit and comes equipped with an Exercise Bicycle, Wab Board Leg Stretcher, Surfboard, Air Walker and Pull Chair. Lakewood Park has been part of the Houston Parks and Recreation Department since 1960.
