Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 1701 Hermann


Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 1701 Hermann #18B about 3:50 a.m. on Sunday (June 9).

The suspect, Ana Lilia Trujillo (H/f, DOB: 2-25-69), is charged with murder in the 338th State District Court.  A photo of Trujillo is attached to this news release.

The victim, 59, suffered multiple stab wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Triplett, Senior Police Officer B. Evans and Officer T. Miller reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to an assault-in-progress call at the above address.  Upon arriving, officers were directed to apartment #18B where a female, later identified as Trujillo, answered the door.  When she did so, the officer saw the victim lying on the floor of the residence.  Trujillo was detained at the scene and questioned by HPD Homicide Division investigators.  She was subsequently charged with using a stilletto heel to fatally stab the victim, who was her boyfriend.
