City to Host Parade of Quality Affordable Homes

October showcase to feature over two dozen new homes for sale in historic neighborhoods throughout Houston

The City of Houston's Housing and Community Development Department and Houston HOPE – a City initiative promoting neighborhood reinvestment through revitalization, homeownership and infrastructure investments – will be hosting a Fall Parade of Homes over the next two weekends. 

The showcase will feature over two dozen affordable homes ready for quick move-in.  Home prices range from $89,900 - $159,900, and qualified buyers may receive up to $30,000 in down payment assistance.

The Parade of Homes will take place on:

Saturday, October 15       11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sunday, October 16         12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Saturday, October 22      11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sunday, October 23        12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

These Houston HOPE homes are located in some of Houston's most historic neighborhoods within close proximity to major thoroughfares, employers and activity centers.
